When she released her debut solo EP on Brutaż last year, Warsaw-based Ukrainian DJ, promoter and producer Shjva welcomed adventurous listeners to an atemporal flux of after-hours club vibrations. Dubbing out the familiar throb of psychedelic trance into jazzy, downtempo pulses, she uses genres like colors, painting highlights rather than letting one shade overwhelm her filigree landscape. Shjva brings this mindset to the slo-mo parties she organizes in her adopted home of Warsaw, and to collaborations with Ukrainian underground legend Vladimir Gnatenko and with Stereometrix as ПЛАН.
