With releases on Mondoj, Edições CN, Hands in the Dark, Au.diom.at and Digitalis and countless collaborations, Warsaw's Piotr Kurek has spent the best part of the last two decades tempering his idiosyncratic alloy of fantasy, psychedelia and classical romanticism. On his latest album Peach Blossom, Kurek puts the human voice under a microscope, augmenting manipulated words in different languages with MIDI and live recordings of various instruments (including marimba, flutes and reeds), obscuring the line between the physical world and our digital reality.
