RIDNE(UA)
Ukrainian for native or dear, RIDNE (Рідне) is series of A/V works curated by the Remote Control collective and Kyiv-based label Standard Deviation that attempts to immerse viewers in the reality of their lived experience. The russian war against Ukraine is far from over, but remains an abstract spectacle for many Westerners. So RIDNE invited tofudj, Diana Azzuz, bsw, Undo Despot and Panghoud to score POV-style video walks shot around Ukraine and broadcast their emotional and personal experiences of war - experiences no doubt familiar to millions of Ukrainians.
