On Krakow-based artist Martyna Basta's new album "Slowly Forgetting, Barely Remembering", she returns to her roots as a classically trained guitarist, using the guitar and zither alongside her arsenal of field recording and vocals. Her debut album had documented her escape from the rigidity of academia, but blending both worlds Basta has been able to create revelatory electro-acoustic movements that sound both scientific and vulnerably freeform.
